Live Play

Filed under: Fun Places, Online Casino, Universe Of Games — admin @ 11:06 am

Live play is a totally different world than paying poker online. Sure the mechanics are the same, but the speed, the people, and the flow of the game are much different. Online you may see anywhere from 100 to 150 hands per hour. Live, you’ll be lucky to see 20-30. There are two reasons for this. One is that online the players have a certain amount of time to act, if that time runs out, the player times out.

Live, there is no timer unless a player calls “time” on another player. This rarely happens. As a result of this time distortion between the two, the patience levels of the players are also affected. Seeing 100s of hands an hour, you can patiently wait to play your premium hands and play optimal poker, especially if you’re multitabling online. When you’re playing live, not only will you have to open up your own range to compete, but your opponents will be playing much looser due to their lack of patience.

The final difference in live play that you’ll want to address if you’re considering it over online poker is the existence of physical tells. All you see online is an avatar (if even). Live, you get to see facial expressions, breathing patterns, movements, and other physical signs. This can be a good or bad thing depending on whether or not you’re good at reading them, or in the converse, if you have some of your own that you don’t realize you’re giving up.

I myself like live play simply because it’s more of a social experience than online play, but I play live more for the fun of the game rather than for making money. It’s been shown time and time again that playing .25/.50 stakes online can net your much more in profit than playing 1/2NL live. Pick your poison.

Practice Odds Online

Filed under: Fun Places, Online Casino, Universe Of Games — admin @ 12:07 pm

In Texas Hold ‘Em poker, calculating outs and odds is an essential skill for making correct decisions about your betting action. These mathematical calculations can intimidate some players who do not like or have natural ability in arithmetic.

Learning how to figure out the outs and odds is something that becomes easier with practice. In fact, it becomes automatic for seasoned players who have played a lot of poker online. For new players, especially in live table games, it may seem impossible because there is so much going on. One has to size up the other players, keep track of the board, and put up with distractions like table talk, music or television in the background. The best place to hone your skills at calculating odds is online.

When you are playing online, you can play for free to gain more experience. This is an ideal way to build your skills, especially at outs and odds calculation. You can even keep an odds chart or calculator there at the computer and refer to it. With practice, it will start to come automatically, and you’ll memorize the outs and odds for different configurations of cards.

If you’re new to poker online, then use this time to acquire calculation skills. You’ll soon learn that a flush draw has 9 outs and offers 4.5 odds to compete the hand, or that a gut shot straight is 11-1 odds. Once you have acquired this skill, you can focus on other aspects of the game, like picking up tells and parlaying positional advantage.

Flush Defined

Filed under: Fun Places, Online Casino, Universe Of Games — admin @ 11:14 am

A flush is an online poker hand containing five cards all of the same suit, but not in a ranked sequence. A flush beats a straight and three of a kind but loses to a full house, four of a kind, and higher.

The value of a flush is defined in showdown by the high card in the order. A flush with an ace as the high card would beat a flush of any other suit with the high card of a king or lower. In the event that the hands both have the same high card, the showdown then compares the second highest, the third highest, the fourth, and fifth, until one of the hands demonstrates a higher card in rank than the other. The winning flush, then, is awarded the pot. If both online poker players have the same value of flush cards for all five cards, they are tied and will therefore split the pot.

The value of a flush often is demoted in betting during poker online play when the board becomes paired, as this makes the possibility of a full house (though it does not necessarily meant that the other player has a flush).

The odds of being dealt a flush in a five card hand is 0.2%.

Filed under: Fun Places, Hall Of Recreation, Universe Of Games — admin @ 2:33 am

Maybe you are a recreational bowler looking to take on this intricate sport more seriously. Should that be your calling, this is key beginning in learning the game as a dedicated bowler. This introduction to bowling perfection is for you. The guys at a nearby bowling pro shop can help you tap bowling potential. Just like a lot of sports, knock the pins down to win! That’s a joke. Fine, bowling is a simple game with not-so simple details. Don’t fret, with a little guidance we’ll get you bowling with the proper steps to bowling greatness.

When you know the time is right invest a little in properly-fitted bowling balls, bowling ball bags, and shoes needed to do this right. You’ll notice a difference with your own stuff. I promise, get your personal ball drilled for custom finger holes, and you can make more of your practice time. A correctly drilled bowling ball can make a substantial improvement in your game. The same goes for benefiting from quality bowling shoes which provide solid footing on the approach.

Since you may have previous purchased your bowling equipment, now it’s time for the number two bowling tip: how to aim. When you stand, try not to focus on the pins. Line up using the notches on the lane like a sling shot. The reason? You’ll find it more effective to roll through a point a good deal nearer. To take full advantage, include it as part of your routine to aim from the exact spot on the floor every approach. Only then you can adjust your marksmanship.

Do we have any tips for spin, to get ten pin explosion? It is our next best piece of bowling advice. It’s all in the their expensive reactive resin balls. Might be surprising that even semi-pro bowlers regularly roll at least two bowling balls to pull off heavy hooks, according to many factors. But greenhorns might want to not try to be fancy, and avoid a ball that weighs a ton. Many avid bowlers invest heavily in bowling balls with synthetic materials. Avoid the temptation, because these balls regularly make even decent pros look like beginners. And that does it for our first three bowling tips. Rest assured you’ll find next month.

I roll strikes for Team “Gipper” for a league for our company’s department of communications here in Kansas City. I offer guidance to beginning bowlers on the web and in my local newsletter. Lastly, I gotta give a shout out to all my heavy rollers at the center. Wreck ‘Em!

Really great kitchens to be won at European windeprijsvraag.nl this year

Filed under: Fun Places, Universe Of Games — admin @ 3:45 pm

2 months ago also a European company took of a online game contest and is also legally completely different. Easy sweepstakes and online promotions are prohibited from demanding a buy to enter.

Actions advertised as online game contests, yet, can take an entry fee or evidence of bribe. Online sweepstakes are also legally indifferently from the online contests in Merced California. That’s why there are terrific prizes to win at online contest and internet sweepstakes this quarter. Entering sweepstakes by mail is passing up in good popularity this month. Many more contest websites are choose up to enter online cyber sweepstakes. Fun websites are treated much more different than the players who win who are not chosen by risk but by an substantial element of easy skill. Everybody can win super Porches now every 3 days even if you live in Monrovia California or in Anderson Indiana, isn’t that marvelous. It should be realy terrific to win electrical tools worth 7342 euro and that simple. Online sweepstakes are broadly much more sluttish and much more faster to enter than funny online contests.

Using Your Looks to Score the Pot in Poker

Filed under: Fun Places, Online Casino, Universe Of Games — admin @ 2:18 pm

I have a very attractive female friend who likes to use her good looks to her advantage at the poker table.

Nothing harmful, but I’ve seen her flirt with male players, maybe do a little hair flip or cast a furtive glance, or ask them if they work out, and I’ve seen her win pots because men she has played against have lost concentration.

Some male players I know rail against that type of behavior, but I say if you can get away with it, then why not? It’s just using your natural assets to your advantage, which is what poker is all about.

It’s no different than Mike Matusow berating another player at the table, or Phil Hellmuth telling them how badly they play, it’s just a way to get another person of their game. And that is a prime part of poker. Anything that is legal toy can and should do to get an advantage.

Good luck to her in an online poker game, however.

Probably the biggest thing, and only, thing I dislike about online poker is that human interaction element is lost.

Obviously, no one can see how hot you are based on your character sitting at the table on the screed. And you can’t talk someone off their game because they could simply turn the chat function off. And I think when people who have only played online venture into a casino for the first time to play that is a major adjustment they have to make. But of course online poker offers is own advantage, such as convenience and speed of play. I think to be a well-rounded poker player, one should try to play online and at a physical table across from real people as much as possible.
