So you need a website to be developed - naturally you search for a web developer to develop your site. In determining who to opt for, you should consider one essential factor: should I go for a bespoke website or a website template?
What’s the differences between bespoke and template sites?
A bespoke website is tailor made to correspond to your prerequisites. You tell the website developer your needs, and they construct a site developed precisely around your needs. A website template uses already-developed code, and you either build your needs around how the website template functions, or the website template can be changed to meet your needs more accurately.
Here are the advantages and disadvantages of a website template
The advantages: A web template uses robust, fully tested, stable and secure code, usually comes with free updates, is very quick to setup and deploy, and is going to be far more money-saving than having a bespoke website designed.
The disadvantages: your template may not precisely correspond to your needs, even with alterations made. The ability of the website developer to amend the website template will be based on his understanding of the template.
Here are the advantages and disadvantages of a tailor-made website
The advantages : Your site will be custom-made to fit your needs. Since the web designer will have prepared the site from nothing, he’ll have a detailed understanding of the codebase, which is a great advantage compared to a template if the web designer doesn’t have much knowledge of the template’s codebase.
The disadvantages : it is high-priced, it normally takes time for a custom site to be built, and you’re taking a risk on whether the web developer is gifted enough to guarantee your website is robust, secure, search-engine friendly and is accessible and usable to everyone.
After deciding upon the sort of site you need, you then need to centre on website hosting. Will the website use dedicated website hosting? Will it use shared hosting? Reliable website hosting is essential to your site. Concentrate also on data back-ups - make sure your site data is backed-up on a daily basis.

Have you ever wasted money on a gym membership or piece of home exercise equipment? YES?
After this you will never do so again!
Every year thousands of people join the gym in with the aim of shedding those extra pounds. This is especially true of January. I know, as I have for the last month had to fight to get a space on the cross trainer (the only time in the year I have to). Then how many of those only last at the gym a month or two (or even less) before they stop going to the gym? And how many of those leave their gym membership running? I know I have been guilty of this in the past. I have left it running while battling with the guilt of both not going to the gym to get fit AND watching £40 go down the drain each and every month. But good intentions never acted on kept that money trickling away until I came to my senses.
The same is true of gym equipment. Have you had a bit of gym equipment, for example and excercise bike, where the most exercise you got from it was shifting it into the back of your car (after it had gathered a layer of dust in some forgotten corner of your house). Where did you take it in the car? Down to the second hand shop for sale.
YOU’LL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!!! Why?
Here is why?
If I was to take the £40 that was about to go out of my account today (on unused gym membership) and invest it.
If I was to achieve an annual return of 20% a year every year that I invest it (”Yeah right. 20%? You have to be kidding!” I hear you say! — but bear with me and check the link below).
And if I was to invest it for the next 56 years (till my 92nd birthday), and never withdraw any of the money, do you know how much that £40 would be worth?
It would be worth a staggering £1,086,950!!! That’s right, a cool one MILLION!
If you don’t believe me, get you calculator out and try it: 1.2 x 40 then hit the = sign 56 times. What do you get?
Now look at your unused gym membership in these terms. If you don’t use it, you are losing £1 million each and every month. I bet you’ll either use or cancel that membership now.
Now if you bought a treadmill for the home, that cost you £200, do you know how long it would take to be worth £1 million if invested as above? 47 YEARS. That’s by my 83rd birthday. And do you know how much it would be worth if I invested it till my 92nd birthday? It would be worth a staggering £5.5 million. YES FIVE AND A HALF MILLION POUNDS.
View those gym memberships and exercise machine costs in this light, can you afford not to use your membership or machine?

With the advancement in the treadmill industry, quality machines could now cost you up to $5,000. So purchasing the wrong equipment could prove costly. And with the huge variety of treadmills in the market today, finding one that suits you best has become even more confusing.
This is the reason why I created these guide questions. It aims to educate people on how to purchase the best treadmill for their needs and avoid some costly mistakes.
So before you start shopping for your new treadmill, answer first the following guide questions below. They will guide you into making the right purchase.
1) Who would use the treadmill?
The treadmill you would be buying would depend on how much you weigh, how tall you are, and how many people would use it.
Most treadmills have a maximum user weight limit, so be sure that your treadmill will be able to support your body weight. For tall people, I suggest you choose machines with lengthy decks, since your strides will be longer than normal.
If the whole family would be using it, it would be better to buy higher quality treadmills (those above $2,000) to make sure that it can handle the workouts of everyone in the family.
2) How often would the treadmill be used?
The quality (and price) of the machine you will be buying would also depend on the number of times the treadmill will be used in a week and for how long. As a guide, a person who weighs less than 200 lbs. and plans to run on it for 30 minutes a day, 7 times a week should get a treadmill in the $1,500 - $2,000 range.
3) Where will the treadmill be used?
The size and weight of the treadmill you will buy is another factor to be considered. If you have limited space at home, then buying a huge treadmill would not be a smart move. Also, an extremely heavy treadmill is recommended to be only on the ground floor of an old house.
For those with limited spaces at home, you might want to choose a treadmill with foldable feature. This allows you to fold the treadmill after use to save space.
4) What features do you need?
You need to determine the features that would be useful to you and be sure that the treadmill you will buy has those features. If you want to workout in your target heart rate then make sure that the machine you will be buying has a heart rate monitor.
5) How much can you afford?
Finally, know how much you can really spend for a treadmill then, considering numbers 1-4, choose the treadmill in that price range that suits you best. If you can’t find your perfect treadmill in that price range, then you might have to look for one with a higher price tag.
If you need a webpage which categorizes the best treadmills by price, you can visit this best buy treadmills page.
Well, there you have it. Hopefully these treadmill buying guide questions was able to enlighten you on the kind of treadmill that you really need.

Treadmills are known to be the most popular and most effective
home exercise and fitness equipment with 33% of the sales and is
capable of burning around 850 calories per hour
Treadmills basically serve two purposes :
a) Walking.
b) Running.
No matter, you are running casually or running seriously
Treadmill is just the perfect equipment for you. The more energy
you put in, the more speed you get out of it. Treadmills are
great assistance for your cardiovascular muscles. It burns
around 860-900 calories in an hour as per the studies which is
an amazing feat for any jogger or weight looser .
Best part is, the chances for injuries and extra stress to
critical joints is very less in case of TREADMILLS. It works 247
and 12 months a year. No snow, No sun can effect it, it just
keeps working:-)
Things to look out in Treadmills before buying it: Treadmill Tips
It all boils down to the capacity of your pocket. Treadmills can
vary from 1000$ to 3000$ (oops that too costly ..right ) but you
have to choose it very wisely because your investment has to
last very long. So expect to pay somewhere around 2000$ for
buying a quality product. Something less than that means you are
loosing on quality in some way. Try to go in for best
Treadmills. But before buying, here are some points to be taken
care of.
a) For Home use : Go in for DC motors as they are less noisy.
For commercial use, Go in for Ac motors but they are a bit noisy
and requires a dedicated line.
———————Random Tip : If you are buying a treadmill
for running purpose, make sure it has a running platform of at
least 60 inches.
b) Horse Power : Do check out the Horse Power of the machine. It
shouldn’t be less than 1.5 CONTINOUS DUTY Horse Power because
anything less than this can be quickly worn out. The concept
behind this is, the heavier the motor would be, the larger it
will works for.
c) Heart rate Monitors : An optional Feature.
d) Incline Adjustment : You can adjust the incline of the
treadmill as per your needs and as per your cardiovascular
muscles need.
e) Deck : A Good Deck operates at low temperature and doesn’t
need much maintenance.
f) Belt : It should accommodate your longest stride That means
the length of the Belt should be no less than 48″. Width should
be no less than 17″.
g) Electronic Board. You can cut your expenses here. Generally
the normal Treadmill has speed, incline, time, distance and
calories. With the addition of other features , price go up. You
can always compromise on additional features according to your
pocket.
h) Frame : High alloy Steel is preferred over the aluminum Frame
. Select Welded Frame over bolded Frame.
i) Find out does your treadmills has emergency shut-off?
j) Incline range should vary from 0 percent to atleast 10%.
k) Listen to its noise in running state and make sure it isn’t
too irritating for you.
l) Last but not the least, do look out for services and set-up.
make sure it is included in the price. Also watch out for
Warranty.
